Full-colour digital print on the face, front and back. The factory prints on the flat face, which runs almost to the edge. The rim, the sides and the throat are not printed.
What is the difference between 3K, 12K and 18K?
It is the same racket, on the same mould, with the same 52 holes and the same printing. The difference is the material. 3K has a 3K carbon face and a medium EVA core: comfortable and forgiving, with plenty of control. 12K has 12K carbon and a hard EVA core: firm and direct, with more power on a hard ball. 18K has the same hard core as 12K, with the coarsest carbon weave. The difference in feel between 3K and 12K or 18K comes mainly from the core.
Does 18K play differently from 12K?
A little. 12K and 18K have the same hard EVA core and the same mould. The difference is in the carbon weave: 18K has a coarser weave and feels slightly firmer still. We do not claim that 18K hits harder or better. If in doubt, 12K is our recommended choice.
Is the throat with the diamond printed too?
Your design goes on the faces of the head, on both sides. The throat and the diamond are outside the print area. The print proof shows exactly where your design will go.
What file should I send?
An SVG or a PDF gives the sharpest result, because vector files stay crisp at any size. If you send a PNG or a JPG, make sure it is at least 1500 pixels wide. We check how sharp your image will be on the racket, and you see the result on the print proof before anything is printed.
Will the holes run through my logo?
Yes, and you see it beforehand. Every padel racket has perforations in the face, and they run through your design as well. In the configurator the holes sit as a layer over your artwork, so you can move your logo until it sits right.
Can I use any colour?
Yes. The face is printed digitally in full colour, so your logo, photo or text can be any colour. On carbon a colour can come out slightly differently from your screen; the print proof shows you the result before anything is printed. The edge and the throat are not printed.
How long until I have my racket?
Count on three to five weeks from the moment you approve the print proof. Every racket is made to order and then printed, so it is not sitting on a shelf. That is what we expect, not a guarantee. If you need it by a particular date, tell us and we will say honestly in advance whether that is possible.
Can I return a printed racket?
A racket with your design on it cannot be taken back. That is the legal exception to the right of withdrawal for goods made to your specification, and you tick it explicitly when ordering. We do not sell blank rackets. Until you approve the print proof, you can cancel free of charge. If something is wrong with the print or the racket itself, report it within two months of discovering it and we will sort it out.
