The holes are not a bug: designing with the perforations
Every padel racket has perforations, straight through your design. Account for them while designing and they become your strongest element.
The first thing you notice about a printed padel racket: the holes go straight through it. That is how it should be, because a racket without perforations does not play. But it does mean a logo in the wrong place gets cut in half.
What you are better off avoiding
Anything that falls across the edge of two holes stops reading.
What works surprisingly well
Large areas of colour could not care less about the holes. And a pattern or background photo filling the whole face gains texture from the perforations, as though it was meant to be there. The strongest designs use the holes as part of the image instead of working around them.
The rule of thumb
If you look at your design with the holes over it and still like it, it is right. And you get to judge it once more on the print proof we send before anything is printed.
